Supervision

• On-site supervision is recommended following initial skill instruction and after all  safety concerns have been emphasized.

Instructional Considerations

• Teachers should use footballs appropriate to the size and ability of the students,
  (e.g., smaller football or Nerf™ ball for younger students.
• Blocking, pushing or tackling should not be allowed.
• Boundary lines must be clearly marked.

Equipment/Facilities

• Goal posts should be padded when they are in the field of play.
• The field of play for youth games or practices should be cross field on a standard rectangular field thus taking any soccer or football goalposts out of play.
• If the game is desired to be played on the full field then the goal posts must be padded.
